AFTC SilverTape Structural Glazing

This warranty product is a double-sided acrylic-based adhesive tape, specially designed for the bonding of high and medium energy substrates. Capable of absorbing the differing thermal expansions of two different materials, the tape maintains high impact resistance even at temperatures below 0 ˚Celsius. The Structural Glazing series has a very high initial tack due to the use of AFTC’s ‘Coating 40’ adhesive, and offers superior plasticizer resistance. The excellent adaptability of this product allows full-surface, tension-free bonding of even thin or textured surfaces. Subject to correct application, training and possible audits, this tape can be used in warranty applications of up to 25 years.
