AFTC SilverTape Direct Foam
This product is a double-sided high-performance acrylic-based adhesive tape, specially designed for materials with high surface energy such as glass, aluminium and steel. Capable of absorbing the different thermal expansions of two materials, when used on the right high surface energy substrates, this acrylic foam tape creates the strongest available bond thanks to its high density. It also offers a very high temperature resistance. In combination with a primer, this SilverTape family guarantees excellent adhesion performance even on medium and low surface energy substrates.

AFTC SilverTape Transparent
This product is a conformable double-sided high-performance acrylic-based adhesive tape. With very high transparency, the tape is specially designed to bond transparent materials such as glass, PMMA and PC. It is also capable of absorbing the different thermal expansions of two materials. In combination with a primer, this SilverTape family guarantees excellent adhesion performance even on medium and low surface energy substrates.

AFTC SilverTape General Purpose
This conformable double-sided general-purpose acrylic-based adhesive tape is an excellent allrounder. Specially designed for materials with high and medium surface energy such as PVC and ABS, it is also capable of absorbing the different thermal expansions of two materials. AFTC SilverTape Plastics
This product is a double-sided high-performance acrylic-based adhesive tape, specially designed for plastic substrates such as PMMA, ABS and PVC. Specifically designed for plastics, this tape is capable of absorbing the different thermal expansions of two materials which in plastics can be extremely high. On certain plastic substrates, such as PP or PE, the use of primer will significantly improve the bond.

This modified multipurpose adhesive tape has been specifically developed for applications where the use of a primer or adhesion promoter is not preferred.

AFTC SilverTape Low Surface Energy (Soft Foam)
This product is a double-sided highly conformable acrylic-based adhesive tape, specially designed for materials with high, medium and low surface energy such as powder-coatings and coated glass. With a highly conformable bubble foam core with LSE coating, this high-performance tape is capable of absorbing the different thermal expansions of two materials. It has a very high initial tack and can be used on almost all substrates. Coating 60 has been specifically developed to improve bonding to low surface energy substrates. This modified multipurpose adhesive tape has been specifically developed for applications where the use of a primer or adhesion promoter is not preferred.

AFTC SilverTape Primerless
This product is a double-coated (Coating 90) highly conformable acrylic foam tape that offers good adhesion on a wide variety of automotive applications and especially on LSE substrates without the need for a primer or other surface modifications. Other features include excellent shear strength, initial strength, long-term stability and adaptability to the bonding surfaces. The tape’s viscoelastic properties reduce tension along the adhesive seam and allow for very durable bonding.

AFTC SilverTape Transfer Tapes
This ultra-thin general-purpose tape is specially designed for materials with high and medium surface energy. Virtually invisible in many instances, this tape is perfect for lightweight, thin and small materials in many shapes and sizes, and allows for good adhesive performance on a variety of moulded parts. For more difficult to bond surfaces AFTC SilverTape 8402 or 8404 are preferred, as these are specially designed for materials with medium surface energy such as PVC and ABS. In applications where the bond needs to be invisible, we recommend AFTC SilverTape 8502 or 8504, which are specially designed for transparent materials such as glass, PMMA and PC.

AFTC SilverTape Pre-Powdercoating
This product is a double-sided high-performance acrylic-based adhesive tape, specially designed for materials with high surface energy such as aluminium and steel. Thanks to its extreme temperature resistance of up to 220° Celsius, this tape is suitable for the complete powdercoating process, including alkaline bath, and it’s also capable of absorbing the different thermal expansions of two materials. Because of its high density, this tape offers a strong bond when used correctly on high surface energy substrates.

AFTC SilverTape Removable

AFTC SilverTape Flame Retardant
This product is a double-coated acrylic foam tape, specially designed for bonding to metals, glass and most high surface energy plastics. The product is designed to offer excellent flame retardancy, and has been certified according EN45545. Other features include excellent shear strength, long-term stability and adaptability to bonding surfaces, and excellent thermal conductivity. AFTC SilverTape Structural Glazing
This warranty product is a double-sided acrylic-based adhesive tape, specially designed for the bonding of high and medium energy substrates. Capable of absorbing the differing thermal expansions of two different materials, the tape maintains high impact resistance even at temperatures below 0 ˚Celsius. The Structural Glazing series has a very high initial tack due to the use of AFTC’s ‘Coating 40’ adhesive, and offers superior plasticizer resistance. The excellent adaptability of this product allows full-surface, tension-free bonding of even thin or textured surfaces. Subject to correct application, training and possible audits, this tape can be used in warranty applications of up to 25 years.

AFTC SilverTape Structural Cladding

AFTC SilverTape SealingTape
SealingTape is a single sided high performance acrylic based adhesive tape. This conformable tape is especially designed for difficult sealing applications. The ionomer backing on this sealing tape is very tough, flexible, abrasion resistant and paintable. What makes it easy to use this tape in all different kind of products. This single-sided tape is neutral transparent and especially designed to seal an existing joint or seam. The adhesive has been designed so that overlapping tape joints can be made while maintaining a strong seal.
