AFTC SilverTape HA76-series

These SilverTape products combine two different adhesive systems. One side consists of a hotmelt adhesive that is inactive at ambient temperatures. Once applied to extruded EPDM or TP seals, this adhesive is activated by a heat source to melt it together with the extruded rubber seal, forming a very strong, permanent bond. The other side of the heat-activated tape consists of a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. Here you will typically find the same adhesive system as the ones used in our Automotive SilverTape AM96-range. The HA76-series products are specially designed for materials with high, medium and low surface energy such as powder coatings and several plastics in modern automotive manufacturing.
